About Coach Loom
Thom Loomis is a life long educator and coach. I spent 32 years as a teacher, coach, athletic director, high school principal and director of instruction & technology. I worked in 6 school districts over the 32 years of my career. I served as a Boys Varsity and JVBasketball Coach, Varsity Cross Country Coach, Assistant Varsity Softball & Baseball Coach and Head Track & Field Coach.
Currently I am the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Fostoria HS in Fostoria, OH. I am also the Varsity Assistant Softball Coach at Arcadia HS in Arcadia, OH.
Additionally I am a University Mentor for Bowling Green State University, mentoring student-teachers in grades PK-12, I also serve as an educational consultant providing professional development, coaching and technology training. I am a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Green Bay Packers and the Cleveland Indians. I love spending time with my family, riding my motorcycle and I am trying to be a better golfer.
